Born in the beautiful country of Sri Lanka, surrounded by lush greenery, diverse wildlife, and sparkling oceans. The nature of Sri Lanka has always been a source of inspiration for me and has played a huge role in shaping my values and beliefs.

Early Interest in Fashion: As a young boy, I spent my days wandering through the local markets, marveling at the vibrant colors and intricate designs of the clothes on display. I was particularly drawn to the sarees, with their intricate designs and beautiful colors.

Witnessing Tragedy: Unfortunately, life in Sri Lanka wasn't always easy. One day the army came through our village.

They killed innocent people and left a trail of destruction in their wake. I saw things that no child should ever have to see, and the memories of that day still haunt me. But it was in that moment that I realized the importance of unity and equality. I saw that we are all the same, regardless of our skin color, language, or beliefs, and that everyone has the same red blood inside of them. It was then that I decided to make a stand against racism and discrimination in any form, and I knew that I wanted to use my clothing line as a way to spread this message.

Moving to The Netherlands: Years later, I moved to The Netherlands to start a new life. I was determined to pursue my dream of starting a clothing line, and I knew that The Netherlands would be the perfect place to do it. With its strong fashion industry and progressive values, I felt that I could really make a difference here.

As I grew older, my life changed, but my passion for fashion never wavered.

Years of Planning: I spent years searching for the perfect factory, fabrics, and ethical practices to make my dream a reality. I wanted my clothing line to be of the highest quality, environmentally conscious, free from child labor, and made with organic materials. I wanted to ensure that all of my workers were paid a fair wage and that the environment was protected from pollution. I also wanted to make sure that the clothes were made in a way that was respectful of the people who were making them.

Environmental Responsibilities: I am committed to making sure that my clothing line is environmentally conscious. I use organic materials and make sure that my factory has a minimal impact on the environment. I also make sure that my clothes are made in a way that is respectful of the people who are making them. Fair Wages for Workers: I believe that everyone deserves to be paid a fair wage for their work.

Symbolism of the Logo: The logo, a square with a red colour in the center, represents the unity and equality that I believe in. The red square symbolizes the red blood that we all have inside of us, reminding us that we are all the same. Vi = வி The logo represents the letter "Vi" in the Tamil language.   I wanted the logo to be simple and powerful, so that it would be easy for people to understand and remember.

Message of Unity and Equality: Through G.Vino, I hope to spread a message of unity, equality, and environmental responsibility. I believe that fashion can be a powerful tool for change and I want to use it to inspire others to think about the world in a different way. I want to show that it is possible to create beautiful, high-quality clothing that is also ethically and sustainably made. I invite you to join me on this journey and to be a part of the movement towards a more just and equitable world.

G.Vino

Finally, my dream became a reality. I started my own clothing line, G.Vino, and I am proud to say that it is a reflection of my values and beliefs. The logo, a square with a red colour in the center, represents the unity and equality that I believe in. The red colour symbolizes the red blood that we all have inside of us, reminding us that we are all the same.
